Ordino Pass / Coll d’Ordino – Andorra

We’re returning to Andorra today with a brief post about the Ordino Pass (Coll d’Ordino in Catalan). It’s just one of the many mountain passes in the country. One that has remained quite unspoiled.

This is one of the good things about Andorra. Despite its booming development, nature that has barely been touched by humans is never too far away (a rare thing in Europe), and the local authorities understand fully that it’s one of their country’s main assets.

The pass is on the border of the Ordino Parish and the Canillo Parish, it has an elevation of 1,879 meters, and it is a hiking paradise, with several trails heading to the various natural landmarks in the area. Andorra’s official site suggests the Neres Walk, and who am I to tell you otherwise?
