Today’s Inktober‘s prompt is Path.
My first idea was a certain path on my favorite island, but I didn’t have the picture I wanted at hand, nor did I have the time to go and take a new one.
I was bracing myself to dig through all of my old pictures to find the one I had in mind when suddenly the perfect path came to me via the internet.
Here is the first sketch:
Follow the path to the final drawing:
Sometimes I prefer the way my drawings look before I erase the pencil sketch
(here the scan is not great, the actual intermediary drawing looked better.)
Almost there.
What do you think?
I have to admit that I like it very much (a rare feeling as far as my drawing is concerned.)
On the one hand, I wish I could draw details better, but on the other hand, I really like this “messy” style (and it’s easy to draw 😉)
Oh, one more thing. What model did I use for this drawing, then?
Well, you’ll have to click the link to this YouTube video to find out. I swear it’s not a rickroll.
Alright, that’s all for today.
See you tomorrow.
